For Immediate Release Contact: Denise Robert TallGrass Spa dog wash, splashy summertime fun Ambary Gardens co-sponsors fundraiser for animal protection If you’re thinking the Dog Days of Summer are hot, humid and lazy, think again. Because the TallGrass Spa Super Sudsy Dog Wash event on Saturday, July 22, is anything but! Think wet, wild and splashy fun as dogs are transformed from scruffy to fluffy and strut their stuff for photo ops with props. Live music and treats for the pups -- and their owners, too – round out the fun at this 11th annual TallGrass fundraising event benefiting Evergreen Animal Protective League. TallGrass staff and volunteers welcome dogs and their owners to the sudsy fun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, at co-sponsor Ambary Gardens, located at 26479 State Highway 74 in Kittredge. A $20 donation includes one wash by volunteers for one dog and a CBD spritzer for its owner. All proceeds support Evergreen Animal Protective League which, for more than 40 years, has been aiding lost, abandoned, and suffering animals through rescue, shelter, and education.
