For Immediate Release Contact: Denise Robert TallGrass Spa and Salon wins Top Workplaces 2019 Award TallGrass Spa and Salon in Evergreen, Colorado, is a winner, once again, of The Denver Post's Top Workplaces award. Employee feedback in response to a third-party survey sponsored by Denver's daily newspaper earned the spa its fifth win for excellence in workplace culture and TallGrass is the only spa to be recognized as a Top Workplace in 2019. TallGrass employee responses to a survey regarding issues such as company values, employee appreciation, meaningful work, sharing viewpoints, motivation, encouraging new ideas, and confidence in company leaders were gathered by Energage, The Denver Post's research partner. In summarizing survey results, the Post described a TallGrass workplace where peace and serenity is not only intended for guests, but for employees as well. TallGrass employee responses to the survey highlighted the spa's management of a good work/life balance as being key for how they are treated. The spa's winning culture was singled-out for the way its employees are valued and encouraged to be part of the team. And, the company's flexible scheduling and profit-sharing models were deemed an important aspect for boosting employee buy-in. "This award is way more than just another plaque on our wall," says TallGrass owner Gail Sharp. "It's our employees telling us that they share our commitment to a work/life balance, and that it's not just about exceptional benefits, but about personal growth, learning, abundance and gratitude, too." The Post invited 2,110 employers in Colorado to participate, with 230 qualifying to take the survey and 60,643 employees responding to the questionnaire either online or on paper. TallGrass's win puts it among just 150 Colorado employers earning recognition and, as the only spa to be honored, TallGrass is in a category by itself.
