With support from spa staff and guests, along with individuals and groups throughout the Evergreen community, TallGrass Soldier Boxes are filled with personal care items – and most important! – cards and letters thanking soldiers for their service. TallGrass Soldier Boxes are shipped to troops in the Middle East twice annually: at holiday time and again at Mother’s Day/Father’s Day. To date, more than 1,400 care packages have been sent. The next shipment is scheduled for November 15 and will include the cards and letters that are being written at the TallGrass Holiday Open House.
