Evergreen dog wash benefits animal protective league

July 15 fundraiser sponsored by TallGrass Spa and Salon

Splish. Splash. Dogs are takin’ a bath. Long about a Sunday afternoon.

The 7th annual Wine Washes and Wagging Tails dog wash event benefiting Evergreen Animal Protective League takes place on Sunday, July 15. Organized by TallGrass Spa and Salon, the fun starts at 11:00 a.m. and continues until 3:00 p.m. in the Evergreen National Bank drive-thru at 28145 Hwy 74 in Evergreen.

A $20 ticket buys one wash by volunteers for a dog and one glass of wine for its owner. There will be door prizes and a doggie photo booth. Co-sponsors are Evergreen National Bank and Creekside Cellars.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds benefit Evergreen Animal Protective League which aids lost, abandoned and suffering animals through rescue, shelter and education. Since 1981, the totally volunteer League has provided a better life for thousands cats, dogs, and other pets. Animals currently available for adoption will be shown at the event.
