Just the other day, someone asked me what my thoughts were about celebrating our TallGrass 15 year anniversary this month. I experienced such an immediate rush of emotion that it was hard to think. But, all of my emotions are eclipsed by an overwhelming feeling of gratitude.
Needless to say, my original business partner, Nancy Bible, and I felt fear and excitement when we embarked on this new chapter of our lives. Starting a day spa when day spas weren’t on every corner, in a new town, with no prior spa experience was a bit challenging! Thankfully, we received help and support from so many people, including many of you who were with us from Day One. All of you made it possible for us to follow our dream.
As the years passed, our TallGrass team of employees became bigger – we started with just 5 – and the beginning of our TallGrass family was created. Quickly, our guests became dear friends, adding to our family. We reached out and formed wonderful bonds with other Evergreen community businesses, organizations and non-profits and that added more people to our family.
We have been blessed beyond measure in these last 15 years. I thank each and every one of you for sharing our journey. Happy Anniversary back to all of you!
