November 2024
I'm turning 70 this month. Wow, I'm definitely a senior. Maybe even elderly.
Weird – surreal even -- because I feel mostly the same as I did years ago. My body has certainly changed though. It's so bizarre to see hanging, crepey skin on my knees and arms. And I'm continually growing little weird things on my skin. My dermatologist and his nitrous oxide cannister get a workout on my precancerous spots along with his scalpel for my numerous little basal cell cancers. And, my hair – yep -- I'll bet it's totally gray now, along with my disappearing eyebrows.
The list continues...
However! I can still swing legs off the bed in the morning, open eyes to the beautiful day, and walk easily to the kitchen for my cup of coffee. I have no huge health issues (oh, thank you thank you thank you) and I have access to wonderful health professionals to help fix little issues. To top it off, I know a place that can help me look and feel my best! 😊 Speaking of that, we are adding a new skin care line to complement our love for Eminence skin care. We've had only four lines at
TallGrass in nearly 30 years so this is a Big Deal!
We chose Vie, a product line from the French company, Phytomer, to add the next level of treatments for those of us who want to up our skin care but do not want to begin medical services like Botox or plastic surgery. I have nothing against medical care at all, but I'm not ready for the pain and expense of that route. These new products mimic those medi-procedures with no downtime.
Please come to our all-day Holiday event on November 14 to learn more about this new line. We will have a representative from Vie (from 9 to 12:30) along with Eminence and other reps throughout the day. Special discounts on gift certificates and retail are good ONLY on that day and for people who come to the spa in person.
I hope you are appreciating your own graceful, beautiful aging. And if you have a couple of little things you'd like to improve, come see us. We love taking care of you!
