Celebrate with a gift from Tallgrass

Peace Pole

We were fortunate to have the Evergreen Rotary Club install a Rotary International Peace Pole at TallGrass this past month.

Peace Poles are a Rotary project celebrating and focusing on peace. There are roughly 250,000 installations worldwide so far, several right here in Evergreen. How inspiring! Especially during this time of war and conflict all around the world and division in our own country.

This beautiful pole states "MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH" in English, Spanish, and Hindi. We were given the opportunity to choose a fourth language and we picked Ute – for the tribe that lived in our area many years ago. It's a wonderful reminder that even in tough times our best choice is always to work toward solutions. Of course, we cannot ignore challenges. Keeping our head in the sand or the clouds will not bring about the changes we hope for. And yet, constant focus on the problem isn't helpful either.

Several dear friends are struggling with a variety of complicated, heartbreaking issues. Serious health troubles, financial worries, relationship problems. I think of them in my morning meditation, sending good energy and positive prayers of hope and trying not to stay mired in the negative.

I believe our job with all challenges is to do the necessary footwork in front of us, keeping our head and heart focused on hope and good. Not easy for sure. But, we can help each other by redirecting the fear, depression, and worry that can overtake us. Together, we are strong and we can carry each other through the dark days.

We at TallGrass are always here for you in our own light, gorgeous, nature-filled valley. Come rest with us. We will lift and nurture you. It's our purpose and we love taking care of you!

P.S. On your next visit to TallGrass, we invite you to help us dedicate the Peace Pole by placing a stone – from our property or one you bring – at the base of the pole along with your intentions for peace in your life and around the world.

Seasonal Services
Ease your transition into Fall with these suggestions for September self-care. Perfectly energizing and balancing, these seasonal services are available through the end of September.

Strawberry Lemonade Pedicure energizes legs and feet with an exfoliating coconut sugar scrub, aromatic strawberry rhubarb body lotion, and yuzu body oil. Oh! there's a stimulating lime-mango enzyme mask, too!

Vitamin "Sea" Facial balances citrus and sea for long-lasting hydration and youthful-looking skin with mangosteen cleanser, pineapple tonique, and vitamin C-packed citrus and kale masque. Algae extracts from marine flower serum add extra radiance.

Summer Solstice Massage and Scrub starts with a 30-minute full body salt scrub, followed by an 80-minute full body massage. We use apricot oil or stonecrop oil to heal sun-damaged skin. Or coconut oil to firm, tone, and tighten. Either way, your body gets just what it needs this summer. A finishing ceremony of burning sage and singing bowls brings harmony to mind and spirit.

Mocktails!

Eminence Mocktails are three perfect product combos customized to hydrate, refresh, firm, and heal summer skin. Buy the entire trio, buy two, or even just one of these essential collections and get 20% off during September.
