February 2021
Anyone interested in playing with an energetic puppy from 6 to 8 every night?
This is Jolene, the newest addition to my family. She's adorable, I'm sure you'll agree. With the loss of my beloved dog, Pepper, and the pandemic that prevents most activities other than walks outside, I figured this was the perfect time to devote lots of attention to a sweet little darling. Actually, it is. Except for one thing – she hardly ever naps. After playing with her and my older dog Nutmeg all day and taking numerous walks, I'm ready for quiet time in the evening. HA!
Just like most things in our lives right now, best laid plans are working out okay if you don't mind a few complications. And the joy of caring for Jolene is totally worth all the challenges.
I hope that you are using these quiet February days to open your heart to the opportunities for love around you – with people, animals, nature. The rewards of giving your love are immense for them and for you, too!
P.S. It's Love Month at TallGrass and we're planning lots of lovely surprises for you. Details coming soon.
