 Message from Gail Sharp, TallGrass Owner
March 2019... Okay, Spring, I'm ready! You can bring on the warmth and sunshine any time now.
March came in like a lion; it was minus 7 degrees at my little ranch this morning. Now, it's the going out like a lamb part that I'm looking forward to.
Even though we are moaning about being OVER winter, this is still a cool time of anticipation. After a 4-day getaway trip south, I'm actually thrilled to be back in time to witness the wonder of the changing seasons. When will I see the first itty bitty crocus heads pushing up in the sunny corner by my garage door? When will the muddy, sloppy melting snow give way to grass and dandelions and grasshoppers in my horse pastures?
The older I get, the faster spring seems to move in and out. I swear I'm going to watch and enjoy every second. You're invited to join me. Let's appreciate these last wet, chilly days of winter and watch nature do her wake-up call.
