Message from Gail Sharp, TallGrass Owner
Don't get me wrong. I'm very grateful to live in a country that has free elections. I appreciate the privilege of voting for the candidates and issues that I believe in. But boy! am I exhausted by the daily onslaught of negative, combative rhetoric from all directions, growing louder and more virulent the closer we get to election day. I can't wait for it to be over!
These days, I am even more grateful than usual for the calm and peace of driving along Upper Bear each morning and walking into the sanctuary of TallGrass.
In an effort to help you create your own sanctuary of calm and increase your wellness, we are introducing a "Goddess of Self-Care Tower" – pictured here. I believe that all of us, women especially, don't take the time to care for mind, body and spirit. We're too busy taking care of everyone else. So, this little tower has products that will help you. And, to make it really simple, we're including quick tip cards that suggest methods for feeling better. Please take any – or all – of them home. They're our gift to you. The quick tips won't take a lot of time and we hope you'll use them to turn off the noise and focus on your own self-care. I guarantee that not only will you feel better, but everyone around you will, too.
And, now that you're feeling better, let's all work together to heal the wounds that divide our country. It starts from within us all.
