Message from Gail Sharp, TallGrass owner
As I've aged, my love of nature, animals, wide open spaces, rural life, and peace and quiet has grown. The bustling city life that I enjoyed for many years while living in downtown Chicago is no longer appealing to me. That's why on a recent trip to Texas for a family visit, I was less enamored with Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio than with the Texas Hill Country and its small towns like Fredericksburg and the surrounding countryside. I loved seeing the stately old ranches, longhorn cattle,
giant oaks and maples, fields of bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush, meandering streams, and small family wineries. Just gorgeous! For me, a walk outside, a drive down a country lane, sitting in a field of grass and wildflowers by the side of a stream is the height of happiness - especially if I'm surrounded by animals. Peace and quiet fills my gas tank of serenity. I'll bet that in the midst of your busy, noisy life, quiet is a value that you've come to cherish, too.
At TallGrass, we value peace and serenity so much that we're adding a new space just for that purpose. Stay tuned for more details and plan to come share the pleasure of quiet time with us in our beautiful mountain valley.
