We hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July/Independence Day celebration. It's hard to believe that it's already JULY! Doesn't summer seem to go speeding by...just like it did when we were school kids?

Outside, TallGrass is in full bloom - flowers, trees, grasses are all especially gorgeous now with just a bit of snow remaining on Mt. Evans. Inside, we have completed a few projects (read about them, below) to make your visits to TallGrass more enjoyable.

Please come soon to enjoy our valley's particular summer splendor. And, when you do, be sure to say hello to our newly adopted Labrador, "Silly Lilly." She'll be hanging out at the front door with veteran guest greeter, Ginger.

Just in time for Summer, remodeling projects at TallGrass reveal beautiful changes to the boutique, retail area, great room, Sage Room and hair salon, all designed to make your visit to TallGrass even more relaxed.

An expanded boutique, relocated to the reception area allows more space to highlight the personal items and gifts that our guests love to shop for. You'll find lots of interesting and beautiful jewelry, clothing and spa treasures.

With the shelves cleared and more space opened up in the retail area, Aveda products are now separated into categories and easier to find in an extensive display.

The Sage Room has become a cozy space, still perfect for TallGrass Tango side-by-side couples massages and intimate parties for small groups of guests. We've kept the best features - the fireplace and the patio, which is really lovely this time of year.

The great room has been re-designed to become a peaceful retreat. With the makeup station moved into the boutique, space was created for two quiet areas - lunches here, comfy chairs and ottomans there.

The hair salon has been remodeled into a classy, elegant space with new chandeliers, wallpaper, upholstery and decor.

Uh...Wait! Don't Answer That!

We had a failure to communicate last month when we asked you to fill out and send in the Guest Survey. You were great: you filled them out and submitted them and we really appreciate your sharing of opinions. But, on our end, it wasn't so great: the surveys were detoured to nobody-knows-where. And, so begging your indulgence, we'd like to ask you to please send us your opinions again.

We've been assured that the program now works perfectly and we look forward to keeping our promise to you. Everyone who fills out and returns the survey to the box in the TallGrass great room or submits it online and includes a name and address will receive a $10 gift certificate from us in appreciation.
